I really love the feeling of atmosphere you've achieved by having lighter colors towards the top and the darker ones towards the bottom. To me, it looks like the whole thing is a big city that's losing gravity and breaking off into the sky. Every time I look at this, I notice something more! I could sit here and stare at this all day, and STILL notice more little things. Anyway, I really like how the center of the piece still maintains focus even though there's a ton of little things going on in the background. Great stuff!!

It's funny that you mention the loss of gravity and everything being pulled up into the sky, I imagine that happening a lot. The idea seems to put things in perspective.

You are welcome! The idea of things breaking apart and floating away is a very interesting idea, considering how catastrophic the ramifications are. It's easy to forget how much gravity is taken for granted until everything on the entire planet floats off.
I really enjoy leaving chunky comments on artwork that I like, so I'm glad to hear it! :)

Gravity and chunky commentary and prolonged stares are all good things. I should make a list of this stuff and read through it when I get all mopey.
